Mission
Almost Holy is committed to building community and spreading the good news of Jesus Christ in this generation. No matter what you’ve done or been through, we believe God designed you for a specific purpose. Our hope is for hearts to be transformed and disciples to be made as we fix our eyes on Jesus.
Values
We Are Free Indeed
ANYONE who confesses Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and believes He was raised from the dead, is made a new creation and is no longer bound by sin. Christ has unconditional love for you and because of His atoning sacrifice we are set free.
Ephesians 1:7 (NIRV) “We have been set free because of what Christ has done. Because he bled and died our sins have been forgiven. We have been set free because God’s grace is so rich”
We Want to Look Like Jesus
As we remain in Christ, the Holy Spirit changes us from the inside out to look more and more like Jesus. When we seek His presence and study His word our hearts and then our thoughts, actions, and character will be transformed to resemble the very nature of Christ.
2 Corinthians 3:18 (AMP) “And we all, with unveiled face, continually seeking as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are progressively being transformed into His image from [one degree of] glory to [even more] glory, which comes from the Lord, [who is] the Spirit.
We Talk About It
We encourage transparent, loving, grace-filled, and truth centered conversations because let’s be honest we all have a past and still have temptations, trials, tribulations. Yet through this we are able to learn about God’s unchanging holy character and we are able to boldly speak of His grace and mercy for all of the days of our lives.
Romans 3:23 (NIV) “For we all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God”
We Do Life Together
Community is essential in our walk as believers. God designed us as the church to live among one another and do life together in the good and bad times. Our relationships and love for each other will show the world we are His disciples.
Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 (NLT) "Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed. If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble.”
Romans 12:15-16 (NIV) “Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn. Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position. Do not be conceited.”
